Glan y Wern

Glan y Wern is a self catering holiday cottage in Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog – close to Llangollen. We are in the Ceiriog Valley one of the hidden secrets of North Wales.

The cottage sleeps four in two bedrooms (one en suite). We have a comfortable lounge with log burner and a well equipped kitchen dinner (including washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine). Off road parking, enclosed garden, and patio area overlooking the fields with seating and BBQ. Two fantastic pubs within 2 minute walk. One recently voted one of the 30 cosiest pubs in Britain!

We are in a great location for exploring the best of North Wales. We are in the Berwyn Range so have great walks and rides straight from the door. Snowdonia and the Clwydian Range are a short drive away. Or explore the rolling hills of mid-Wales.

For mountain bikers, we are close to Llandegla, Coed-y-Brenin, Revolution Bike Park and the Penmachno trail.

We also have great road and off-road cycling straight from the door. And if you want to go walking we are blessed with some beautiful walks in the area.

The popular tourist towns of Llangollen, Bala and Betws y Coed are a short drive away.

Glan y Wern is mountain biker owned, so we can speak to you about trails in the area if you need recommendations.

We also have lots of guide books, maps and trail guides available to use at the cottage.

Come and visit one of the hidden gems of North Wales. Llanarmon was recently recommended by Rough Guides as one of the 6 places in Wales you must visit but have probably never heard of! Praise indeed.
