Slate Valleys Path – Aber Ogwen

The route starts on the shores of Y Fenai at The Spinnies LNR on the periphery of the Penrhyn Estate that was built on the sweat and blood of the quarrymen further up the valley. It follows quiet country lanes in the main, and at the highest point provides a wonderful viewpoint over the Menai Straits, Penrhyn Castle and Traeth Lafan.
