Torridon Mountain Map Now Available

The BMC and Harvey Maps have just announced the twelfth map in their series of wonderful Mountain Maps. The latest map, Torridon and Fisherfield covers such classics as An Teallach, Beinn Eighe and Liathach.

These maps are in the rather unusual 1:40,000 scale, but one that bridges the gap between the usual 1:25k and 1:50k with the best of both. Equally good for planning long trips and on the hill. Constructed from waterproof paper makes it even more practical. These hark back to the days of the one inch maps that may have used an outdated measurement unit, but were certainly prettier than the current OS maps.
